Age Requirements | Families with Children
Nearly all cruise lines cater for children. This is best
indicated in the form of their ‘Kids Clubs’ where
children can play and be entertained (under qualified supervision)
in their own area onboard.
It is important to be aware that under Maritime Safety & Law
all ships have a maximum number of children (under 18 years)
they can carry on each voyage. For this reason the cruise
may sometimes have general availability but have filled their
capacity for children. We strongly recommend families book
early for peak holiday periods.
Cruise Lines also possess a minimum age policy. In most
cases this is 21 years of age and means that anyone below
this age will be unable to travel without adult supervision.
Travelling with an Infant?
The policy differs between cruise lines however 1 year old
generally is the minimum required infant age.
