Stunning Vista-class

Launched in 2004, MS Westerdam is the third Vista-class cruise ship from Holland America. MS Westerdam embraces new environmental technologies such as a diesel-electric power plant for clean, green energy efficiency and Azipod propulsion.

A proud Dutch history

MS Westerdam amenities include fantastic ocean views from her staterooms - many of which have private verandahs. There is a Dutch heritage theme throughout the ship's art collection, with paintings of famous Dutch ships – for example, Henry Hudson's Half Moon - and a massive Indian wood palace doorway with silver inlay.

Further artworks include a tobacco pipe carved from bone, and a series of Pre-Columbian limestone figures sourced from Ecuador. For a contemporary range, Holland America has included a portrait from Andy Warhol, and sculptures from Sedona artist Susanna Holt.
