    When is the best time to go to Central America?

    With year round sunshine, especially in coastal regions, Central America is an attractive destination any time of the year. There is however a wet and dry season to take into consideration with the dry season running from December to April making it a great winter getaway for those in the Northern Hemisphere. The Caribbean side of Central America does have a dry season in September and October which makes for a great Spring break for those travelling from New Zealand and Australia. As you would imagine, the busiest time to cruise is in the dry season and especially around the Christmas holidays. A good alternative is to travel in the quieter wet season when short heavy bursts are interspersed with sunny warm days.
