6 NIGHT GOLD CLUB CRUISE ITINERARY
DAY 1
We set a course bound for the Yasaw Islands. As the sun sets, complimentary champagne and hors d'oeurves are served followed by the "Captain's Welcome" dinner . Then enjoy and evening of fun and entertainment by your crew or relax in the comfort of your cabin with a movie.
DAY 2
Awake for an early swim in a secluded lagoon before breakfast as we cruise north along the coral cays of Naviti Island. We stop at a remote beach to enjoy a swim or bushwalk. A lazy tropical beach barbeque is laid out on the beach before we head back to the ship to cruise on to our next island where you can watch a basket weaving demonstration, swim, snorkel or just laze on the beach. Tonight after sunset cocktails onboard, dress-up and join in the fun and festivities of our exotic theme night dinner - East Indian Delights.
DAY 3
Our first island is an idyllic spot to coral view, swim, snorkel or sunbathe. Lunch onboard as we cruise further northwards to a traditional Fijian village. As honoured quests, you take part in the ancient and solemn "Yaqona" ceremony of welcome, while the villagers perform their traditional dances or "mekes". Later peruse the shell market for bargains and souvenirs before we rejoin the ship for sunset cocktails on the deck followed by yet another magnificent dinner.
DAY 4
An early morning swim before we cruise to the most northerly section of the Yasawa Islands, Yasawa-I-Rara Island. Undeniably one of the most pristine and beautiful places in Fiji. The snorkeling is magic with unbelievably colored tropical fish in their coral reef gardens. We rejoin the ship for lunch while we cruise to our night anchorage point. While away the afternoon with more swimming and snorkeling or chill out under breezy palm trees with a good book or a relaxing Fijian massage. Tonight we dine ashore, under the stars with a fabulous carvery dinner - mouthwatering roasts and tropical salads while your crew set the mood with soft island music.
DAY 5
An early morning swim, followed by a leisurely breakfast before we visit a local village school to experince a traditional Fijian class room scene. Later we rejoin the ship as our Captain sets a course for yet another beautiful beach on which to spend our afternoon. You may choose to go on a snorkeling trip to the nearby reef, enjoy a swim or a gentle walk on the beach. Back to the ship for cocktails on the deck followed by Dinner with dancing and and island music you now know the words to.
DAY 6
Awake to the ship anchored off our own private island - Nanuya Lailai. There are lots of activities to choose from, including: kayaking, spy boarding, fishing, snorkeling and bush and beach walks. For those not inclined to go snorkeling, there is the option to go on the glass bottomed boat to view the colored reefs and even more colorful tropical fish. for the more adventurous, scuba diving is available at additional cost. Or simply relax under the palms trees in a gently swaying hammock, get that relaxing massage you've been promising yourself or take a swim and have your barman serve your drinks to you from the beach. Sunset cocktails is on the beach tonight as your last night in paradise is "Island Night". A traditional Fijian feast or "magiti" is prepared for you in a ground oven or "lovo". After this wonderful dinner, a beach party captures the spirit and romance of the South Pacific.
DAY 7
There's a time for an early morning swim before the anchor is lifted and the Captain sets course for Lautoka. Breakfast and morning refreshments are served as you cruise back to reality. The last memory of your week in this South Seas paradise will be the haunting lyrics of Fiji's unforgettable farewell song "Isa Lei, sung by your crew.
Average cruising time four hours per day. Every night is spent anchored in a sheltered lagoon. Cruise itinerary subject to wind, tide and weather conditions.
