1. iCruise WEBSITE USAGE

The information on this website is directed at those who wish to utilise iCruise as their travel provider and grants you a limited right to use this site in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

By using the site, you agree to:

  1. Only use the iCruise website to make legitimate reservations and shall not use this website for any other purposes as such to make any false or fraudulent reservation or activity.
  2. Provide legitimate contact information, including e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, and all passenger details.
  3. Not permitted under applicable law to, copy, reproduce, distribute or otherwise communicate to the public any of the content provided in this website.
  4. You shall not use any device or software that interferes or attempts to interfere with the operation of this website. You shall not use any device to monitor or copy any data or content found on this website.
  5. Not modify, disassemble or adapt any content or functionality from this website.
  6. Not reproduce or distribute any content or information found on this website.

4. VALIDITY

Information on this web site has been obtained from the Cruise Companies represented. However, the cruise industry is constantly changing and iCruise endeavour to keep the information featured as up to date and correct as much as possible. All prices and cruise details should be re-confirmed at the time of booking.
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. References to “us”, “we” and/or “our” in these booking terms and conditions shall mean Adventure World Pty Ltd, trading as iCruise.

5. HOW TO BOOK

You can make a booking online and use your credit card for payment or alternatively you can contact one of our cruise experts who will work with you to make your booking.
To reserve your cruise and secure your fare, you will be required to place either full payment or a deposit for your cruise, depending on the type of fare you have purchased (i.e. how close the purchase is, to the departure date).
Online bookings will be advised prior to payment submission of the required deposit, alternatively your iCruise consultant will advise you of the exact deposit amount required upon confirmation of your reservation.
The balance of payment is due to iCruise no later than 90-100 days prior to departure (or as stated on the confirmation invoice). Your iCruise consultant will advise you of the exact due dates for final payment on confirmation of the booking. Once your cruise has been deposited and/or paid strict amendment and cancellation penalties will apply.
Receipt of deposit will be taken as an understanding by iCruise that you, the customer have checked your confirmed travel arrangements and have read and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herewith in.

6. FORM OF PAYMENT

iCruise accept cash, cheque, eftpos and direct debit into our bank account as the preferred form of payment.

7. CREDIT CARDS

Credit card payments are accepted however will incur a service charge. Visa & Mastercard 1.8% and American Express 3%. This fee is non-refundable. Online website booking payments incur no service charge.

8. PRICING

All fares featured on the iCruise website are in NZ$ based on per person twin share accommodation, unless otherwise stated. All fares are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations and availability restrictions. Specific cabin allocation is subject to the respective cruise line's discretion, unless otherwise pre-arranged at time of booking. Fares are based on standard inside, outside & balcony cabin and suite accommodation categories and include port taxes and government fees. Prices are offered as a guide up until your arrangements are fully paid, we and/or the cruise line or service provider such as an airline or hotel reserve the right to adjust pricing. In accordance with laws passed within the countries of operation, iCruise will pass on any additional taxes, charges or levies legally imposed by any government to the respective cruise line or service provider. Charges or levies imposed by airlines are subject to change up until airlines tickets are issued.

9. AMENDMENTS

Changes made to bookings once confirmed are subject to a minimum change fee of NZ$50.00 per person per amendment, to cover communication and administration costs. In addition cancellation and/ or amendment fees may also be imposed by cruise lines, airlines and other service providers such as hotels and cruise line representation offices. Please ask your iCruise consultant to detail the specific cancellation fees that apply to your booking.

10. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS – GENERAL ARRANGEMENTS

It is very important you are aware that cancellation penalties will apply to your booking. Should the unfortunate circumstance arise that you need to cancel your booking, iCruise will impose a cancellation fee of NZ$100.00 per person, this will be in addition to the cancellation fees stipulated by the respective cruise line and/or travel service provider such as a hotel or airline.
Please ask your iCruise consultant for the applicable cancellation fees that will apply to your booking, or refer to the respective cruise lines’ Terms and Conditions pages. The fare is defined as the cost of any cruise, land or air element purchased.
A transfer of an existing cruise booking to a new cruise is regarded as a cancellation of the first cruise booking and is subject to the applicable cancellation fees.

11. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS – AIRLINE ARRANGEMENTS

Cancellation fees will apply as indicated by airlines regulations and will vary dependent upon the type of airfare utilised. Airfare prices and conditions are subject to change or withdrawal without notification until the airline tickets are issued. Full payment is required before tickets can be issued. iCruise cannot be held liable for any increases in prices or changes in any airline regulations. Foreign currency airfares and airport taxes may fluctuate and are subject to the rate of exchange on date of ticket issue. Increases in airport taxes are not the responsibility of iCruise and can be imposed up until the airline ticket is paid for and issued, these additional costs are the responsibility of the customer to pay. To the extent we are able to do so we will advise you of any increases of which we are aware of at the time of confirmation of your booking.

12. CONSUMER CLAIMS

Should you encounter any problems on your arrangements while travelling we recommend to try and solve it directly with the respective travel supplier, whether it be the cruise line, hotel or applicable airline. If it is not possible to do so and you wish to lodge a complaint please do so in writing within 30 days of completing your iCruise arrangements.

13. INCLUDED IN THE CRUISE COST – GENERAL

Transportation for the cruise duration, accommodation in your selected cabin/stateroom, all main meals onboard, onboard entertainment and activities as per the respective cruise line product delivery, applicable port taxes & government fees (which are subject to change at any time without notice). Some inclusions vary per cruise line and/or package purchased. Ask your iCruise consultant to re-confirm what is included within your purchase.

14. NOT INCLUDED IN THE CRUISE COST - GENERAL

Items of a personal nature, shore excursions, beverages, gratuities, meals ashore, on-board casino (if applicable), health & spa facilities, laundry services, ship's photography, cruise ship shopping outlets, on-board telephone & internet facilities, alternative restaurants etc (if applicable).
Items not included in your fare may vary per ship & cruise line, please ask your iCruise consultant for details relating to your cruise or refer to the respective cruise line's Terms & Conditions pages.

15. VARIATIONS TO DETAILS WITHIN THIS WEBSITE

Considerable care has been taken to compile the information in this website but circumstances not within iCruise’s control may necessitate changes in itineraries, accommodation, services and costs in which case you will be informed as soon as possible. The respective cruise line, hotel or other service provider reserves the right to substitute the ship, vessel, hotel or service with an alternative of at least a similar standard.

16. SHIP & HOTEL DESCRIPTIONS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

Ship, hotel and facility descriptions featured in this website are based on current cruise line, ship & hotel guides and information provided by suppliers and may change at any time. Pictures utilized may not reflect the exact room, décor, view or other specifications. There have been attempts at globalizing the “star ratings” so that they become an internationally recognised and reliable standard.
iCruise advises differences may exist in the quality of overseas accommodation to that of a similar star rated service in New Zealand.

17. INSURANCE

iCruise strongly recommend that you take out a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy once the cruise deposit has been paid.
Cruise Lines have the unenvious task of trying to manage thousands of passengers on their holiday requirements. This management commences at the time the itinerary is written & becomes paramount within 3-4 months of departure. Therefore any cancellation is treated with utmost seriousness by the cruise lines and or service provider at this point and heavy penalties up to & including the full fare can be imposed.
Travel Insurance assists you with the recuperation of these costs in the event of unforeseen circumstances that result in you having to cancel your booking.
Please check with your iCruise consultant as to what the cancellation penalties apply to your booking at the time of confirmation.
iCruise can assist you with purchasing the right travel insurance policy for your holiday.

18. INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

You are responsible for all immigration, passport, visa, health, quarantine and customs laws, regulations, orders, demands or other requirements of countries visited or transited.
Official travel advice issued by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is available by calling (in New Zealand) 04 439 8000 or visiting their website www.safetravel.govt.nz. We recommend that you review this information both prior to making your booking and prior to departure. We strongly recommend that you also register your upcoming travel plans on www.safetravel.govt.nz.

19. UNLICENSED ENTITY DISCLAIMER

iCruise’s is a TAANZ (Travel Agents Association of New Zealand) bonded agency and as such use a range of products have been refined and proven within the international travel industry, if you request iCruise to arrange for the provision of products or services by a person or company which is not licensed in accordance with any applicable law, nor recommended by iCruise, iCruise accepts no liability (whether in contract for negligence or otherwise) for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result.

20. RESPONSIBILITY

iCruise accepts bookings subject to the following conditions:

  1. A booking is accepted only after iCruise receives the required deposit and issues the client their confirmation invoice. The balance must be paid no later than 90-100 days prior to departure (or on a date otherwise stated by iCruise on the booking confirmation), otherwise iCruise will treat the booking as cancelled regardless of whether a deposit is being held.
  2. iCruise only acts as a coordinator of cruises and travel services and as an agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers of cruises, transportation, accommodation and/or other related travel services provided and assumes no responsibility for the loss or damage to baggage, property or for injury, illness, death or for any damages or claims howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly from accidents, loss or damage to person or property, delays, transport failures, strikes, wars and uprisings or acts of God etc. over which we have no control. All coupon receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by third party suppliers and all services are subject to the laws of the country where the services are provided.
  3. All matters directly relating to the services provided by iCruise are governed by the laws of New Zealand
  4. We will endeavour to provide the most suitable travel arrangements to meet the particular requirements you have made known to us. However, travel is an individual experience and your preferences and opinions may vary from our own. For this reason, we cannot take responsibility for your individual satisfaction.

21. CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

The carrier companies that provide the transportation for your travel arrangements (i.e. the cruise lines, airlines or travel service providers) produce Terms & Conditions of carriage which form part of your contract both with us and with the carrier companies. You may ask for copies of the relevant providers Terms & Conditions of carriage from your iCruise consultant.

22. PRIVACY

You agree that iCruise and related entities may collect, retain, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we manage your personal information and is available on our website at www.icruise.co.nz, or can be sent to you on request.

23. CHANGES TO OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. By booking with iCruise you are accepting that you are bound by the terms and disclaimer that is current at that time, you should re-check these each time you visit our site.
